Day 1: Dong Hoi Airport/ Station – Phong Nha Cave – Paradise Cave – Hotel in Dong Hoi
Morning: Pick-up time depends on the time your flight/train arrives at Dong Hoi Airport or Dong Hoi Station. An English-speaking tour guide with a welcome sign at Da Nang Airport will greet you. The tour guide will take you to a private car and take you to Phong Nha Cave.
The journey from Dong Hoi Airport to Phong Nha Cave takes about 1 hour.
Arriving at Phong Nha Cave , the tour guide will complete the procedures for purchasing entrance tickets and renting a private boat for your sightseeing journey. Phong Nha Cave is located in Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park, once recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage.

You will experience sitting on a boat on the Son River to explore Phong Nha as a magical natural picture with many different shapes. After stopping inside the cave, the group had time to walk to learn more about the mysteries there. The tour guide will share interesting stories throughout your journey of discovery.
The boat will pick you up at the cave entrance and take you to the dock. The car will pick you up and go to a local restaurant in Phong Nha to enjoy lunch.
Afternoon: You will have a journey to Paradise Cave. The car will take you to the foot of the mountain and begin the journey to Paradise Cave. Your journey will be about 600 meters of walking, passing through lush and majestic forests. Then, start exploring Paradise Cave. Inside the cave are stalactites dating back millions of years, creating a unique and strange shape.

At 6:00 pm, enjoy a dinner at a local restaurant in Dong Hoi. Then, the car will take you to the hotel in Dong Hoi, check-in, and rest at Rex Quang Binh – 09 Bach Dang Street, Nam Ly Ward, Dong Hoi City.
Day 2: Dong Hoi – Vinh Moc Tunnels – Hien Luong Bridge – Ben Hai River – Khe Sanh – Hotel in Hue
Morning: Have breakfast at the hotel restaurant.
At 8:00 am, the car and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel, then start the journey to Hue and explore Imperial Hue, Royal Tombs, and Thien Mu Pagoda. The distance from Dong Hoi to Hue is about 170 kilometers, about 3 hours by car. But your journey will take longer time because there are stops at Vinh Moc Tunnels, Hien Luong Bridge – Ben Hai River, and Khe Sanh.
Vinh Moc Tunnels is located in Quang Tri Province, about 80 kilometers from the starting point, a place called “Underground Village”. Vinh Moc Tunnels have 3 underground floors, built to serve as shelters and living quarters for villagers during the war. You will explore special rooms such as classrooms, hospitals, people’s living rooms, etc.

Then, continue to Hien Luong Bridge and Ben Hai River. Hien Luong Bridge spanning the Ben Hai River is an important historical landmark of Quang Tri province, Vietnam. This bridge once marked the temporary division between North and South Vietnam. Hien Luong Bridge is uniquely painted in two different colors, with a white horizontal line, 1cm wide, as the boundary. Today, although Vietnam is unified, independent, and free, the bridge is still a precious symbol of the country’s history.

Next, you will stop at a restaurant for lunch in Quang Tri.
Afternoon: The car will take you to Khe Sanh to visit the remaining evidence of war at Ta Con Airport, one of the strategic military bases of the US Army in the years from 1966 to 1968 in Khe Sanh battlefield. Currently, Ta Con Airport also displays outdoor artifacts such as airplanes, tanks, and artillery as well as dozens of bombshells.

Continue your journey to Hue, the remaining journey takes less than 3 hours. Arriving at Hue, the driver will take you to a local restaurant and have dinner.
After dinner, the car will take you to the hotel in Hue at Rosaleen Hotel – 36 Chu Van An Street, Phu Hoi Ward, Hue City.
Day 3: Hue – Imperial Hue – Thien Mu Pagoda – Minh Mang Tomb – Khai Dinh Tomb – Incense Village – Hotel in Hue
Morning: Have breakfast at the hotel restaurant.
Imperial Hue is the royal palace of the 13 Kings of the Nguyen Dynasty, also the last feudal dynasty of Vietnam. Kings ruled the country from 1802 to 1945, starting with King Gia Long and ending with King Bao Dai. Imperial Hue is currently preserving the unique architecture of the Nguyen Dynasty and precious treasures are still kept. You will admire architecture such as Ngo Mon Gate, Ngu Phung Floor, Thai Hoa Palace, Dien Tho Palace, Kien Trung Palace, The Mieu, Nine Uns, etc.

After exploring Imperial Hue, the car will take you to Thien Mu Pagoda, an ancient pagoda located on Ha Khe Hill, with a history of more than 400 years, considered a part of the soul of Hue. Here, there is Phuoc Duyen Tower, a sacred tower with 7 floors, the symbol of Thien Mu Pagoda, often seen on ao dai, conical hats, and pictures of Hue, etc.

Enjoy a delicious at a local restaurant.
Afternoon: Travel to Minh Mang Tomb, which is the tomb of the second king of the Nguyen Dynasty, who had many achievements in reforming Vietnam during that period. Minh Mang Tomb is a mausoleum built according to feng shui elements and has a symmetrical architecture based on a straight line.

Continue the journey about 4 km to Khai Dinh Tomb, which is the tomb of the twelfth king of the Nguyen Dynasty. He was a king with a personality and much influenced by French ideology. Therefore, Khai Dinh Tomb has a unique architectural style, a combination of Vietnamese and French architecture. Besides, the Khai Dinh Tomb is known as the top mausoleum in terms of architecture with porcelain mosaic art.

After visiting Khai Dinh Tomb, you will go to Incense Village, which has a long standing traditional craft village. Here, you will see incense sticks meticulously created and beautifully displayed. You can also try participating in an incense-making experience with the locals at this place.

Day 4: Hue – Lap An Lagoon – Lang Co Beach – Hai Van Pass – Ba Na Hill (Golden Bridge) – Hotel in Hoi An
Morning: Have breakfast at the hotel restaurant.
At 7:00 am, start the journey from Hue to Hoi An, and visit the Golden Bridge and Marble Mountains. Your journey will last 1 day with interesting stops such as Lap An Lagoon, and Hai Van Pass before you reach your first attraction, the Golden Bridge.
The first stop is Lap An Lagoon, which is one of the most beautiful lagoons in Hue City. Lap An Lagoon is located right at the foot of Hai Van Pass, so this place has brackish water and majestic beauty with mountain and forest scenery. Here, you will admire the scenery, take photos, and learn about the oyster fishing and pearl farming process.

Continue your journey to conquer Hai Van Pass, the pass has majestic natural landscapes, and at the top is the natural boundary between Hue and Da Nang. Stopping at the top of Hai Van Pass, you will have time to immerse yourself in the beautiful scenery of this place.

After leaving Hai Van Pass, the car will take you to Ba Na Hill and experience the world’s longest single-wire cable car lines to reach the Golden Bridge.
The Golden Bridge in Da Nang, Vietnam is a beautiful architectural work that has quickly become a tourist attraction. Located in Ba Na Hills, this pedestrian bridge is supported by two giant hands and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and forests. Ba Na Hill is a complex with many unique architecture and interesting entertainment activities. You will not only see the Golden Bridge but also explore Linh Ung Pagoda, French Village, Fantasy Park (indoor amusement park), etc.

Have buffet lunch inside Ba Na Hill.
Afternoon: At 3:30 pm, the car travel to the next attraction, Marble Mountains. This is a scenic spot formed by 5 limestone mountains named according to the theory of the five elements: Kim Son (Metal Mountain), Hoa Son (Fire Mountain), Thuy Son (Water Mountain), Moc Son (Wood Mountain), and Tho Son (Earth Mountain). Here, you can walk up the stairs or take the elevator to the top of Water Mountain (Thuy Son), admire the beautiful scenery, and explore the architecture from top to bottom of the mountain including caves and the most ancient and spiritual Linh Ung Pagoda.

Then, the car will pick you up at the foot of Marble Mountains and go to the Hoi An and enjoy a delicious dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 5: Hoi An – Hoi An Ancient Town – My Son Sanctuary – Bay Mau Coconut Forest (Cam Thanh Village) – Hotel in Hoi An

After breakfast, you will start a half-day of exploring My Son Sanctuary.
My Son Sanctuary is a historical site located in Quang Nam province, one of Vietnam’s most important archaeological sites, and was recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage in 1999.
My Son used to be a religious and political center of the Kingdom of Champa from the 4th to the 13th century. Here, you will join your tour guide to explore ancient towers and learn more about Cham culture. At the same time, admire the Champa dances inside My Son Sanctuary.

After leaving My Son, you will return to Hoi An and enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon: The car will take you to Bay Mau Coconut Forest (Cam Thanh Village), which is an ecological area of Hoi An. You will experience riding a basket boat and visiting the lush green coconut forest in a peaceful space. Admire the unique basket dance performance, and the art of casting fishing nets, and have fun in the coconut forest. After a 30 minutes journey to explore the Coconut Forest, you will enjoy fresh fruits at this place.

Leaving Bay Mau Coconut Forest, the car will take you to Hoi An Ancient Town is a place that preserves cultural heritage from the period of development of merchant ships and international trade. Ancient houses, ancient roads, and ancient wooden bridges are all living proof of cultural interference between Vietnam, China, and Japan. Here, you will discover ancient Chinese merchants’ Assembly Halls such as the Cantonese Assembly Hall, and Fujian Assembly Hall, and ancient houses such as Tan Ky Ancient House, Phung Hung Ancient House, etc.

The tour guide will take you along the streets inside the old town, through small alleys, and to street eateries to enjoy the culinary culture here.
