From Da Nang to Hue 3 Days

Day 1: Da Nang Airport/ Station – Ba Na Hill (Golden Bridge) – Cruise on Han River – Hotel in Da Nang.

Day 2: Da Nang – My Son Sanctuary – Marble Mountains – Bay Mau Coconut Forest (Cam Thanh Village) – Hoi An Ancient Town – Hotel in Da Nang.

Day 3: Da Nang – Hai Van Pass – Lap An Lagoon – Lang Co Beach – Hue Imperial – Thien Mu Pagoda – Khai Dinh Tomb – Hotel in Da Nang (End tour).

From Da Nang to Hue 3 Days

Day 1: Da Nang Airport/ Station – Ba Na Hill (Golden Bridge) – Cruise on Han River – Hotel in Da Nang.

Morning: Pick-up time depends on the time your flight/train arrives at Da Nang Airport/Station. An English-speaking tour guide with a welcome sign at Da Nang Airport/Station will greet you. The tour guide will take you to a private car and take you to Hue Imperial.

Ba Na Hill stands out as one of the top tourist destinations in Da Nang. Visitors can enjoy a thrilling ride on a single-rope cable car, taking in breathtaking views of the vast forests along the way. Furthermore, you can explore the iconic Golden Bridge, famous for its unique architecture with giant hands supporting the bridge, offering panoramic views from above. Explore other highlights including Linh Ung Pagoda,  French Village, Fantasy Park indoor theme park, and Du Dome Square, famous for its art festivals and various attractions. After that, enjoy a buffet lunch at Ba Na Hill.

Afternoon: After visiting, experiencing, and having fun at Ba Na Hill, the car will take you back to Da Nang City Center and check in to the hotel. After checking in, you will have time to rest and play freely.

6:00 pm, the driver will pick you up at the hotel and go to a restaurant in Da Nang and enjoy a dinner at a local food. 

After dinner, the car will take you to Han River Cruise Terminal and begin your boating experience on the Han River. This is the time when you can relax and admire the most beautiful bridges of Da Nang at night such as Dragon Bridge, Song Han Bridge, etc.

After the experience, the car will take you back to your hotel in Da Nang.

Day 2: Da Nang – My Son Sanctuary – Marble Mountains – Bay Mau Coconut Forest (Cam Thanh Village) – Hoi An Ancient Town – Hotel in Da Nang.

Morning: Have breakfast at the hotel restaurant.

8:00 am, The tour guide will pick you up at the hotel lobby, then go to My Son Sanctuary.

My Son Sanctuary is about 40 kilometers from Hoi An Ancient Town and was built from the 4th to the 14th century by the Cham dynasty. Currently, My Son Sanctuary is preserving many temples and towers, used to worship kings and gods. Coming here, you can not only learn about the architecture but also admire Cham dances right inside the citadel.

Next, the car will take you to the Marble Mountains, are formed from 5 limestone mountains named according to the theory of the five elements: metal, wood, water, fire, and earth. You will explore the largest limestone mountain, Water Mountains, you will take the elevator to the top of this mountain and then explore the structures from the top to the bottom of the mountain.

After visiting Marble Mountains, the car will pick you up and go to Hoi An.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Hoi An.

Afternoon: The car will take you to the Bay Mau Coconut Forest at Cam Thanh Village.

Bay Mau Coconut Forest in Cam Thanh village, south of Hoi An, is an eco-tourism site where you experience basket boats—small round boats typical of the Central River region. This experience not only feels unique but also offers insights into local life. Guests can also enjoy special basketboat dance performances, where skilled boatmen gracefully maneuver on the water, creating a beautiful and impressive scene.

Next, go to Hoi An Ancient Town, which preserves many architectural works hundreds of years old, has been recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage since 1999. There is a Covered Bridge, a symbol of the Old Town. Hoi An is famous for its architectural style “Above is a house, below is a bridge”, printed on the 20,000 VND bill. Tan Ky Ancient House, is considered a living museum of the house’s ancient architecture. In addition, you can also learn about the architecture and history of the Assembly Halls here such as the Cantonese Assembly Hall, Fujian Assembly Hall,…

After that, you will experience sitting on a boat on the Thu Bon River, watching the scenery of Hoi An at sunset and the ancient scenery from both sides of the river. You can also experience floating lotus lanterns with the meaning of wishing your wishes come true. Then, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant in Hoi An.

After dinner, the car will take you back to your hotel in Da Nang.

Day 3: Da Nang – Hai Van Pass – Lap An Lagoon – Lang Co Beach – Hue Imperial – Thien Mu Pagoda – Khai Dinh Tomb – Hotel in Da Nang (End tour)

Morning: Have breakfast at the restaurant.

After breakfast, start the journey from Da Nang to Hue, a distance is about 110 kilometers. You will have interesting sightseeing stops such as Hai Van Pass, Lap An Lagoon, and Lang Co Beach.

The Hai Van Pass, serving as the natural boundary between Hue and Da Nang, winds along the coastal route and rises to nearly 500 meters above sea level at its peak. Taking a break at the summit allows you to relax and admire the breathtaking scenery, all while discovering Hai Van Quan, a defensive fortification constructed during the reign of King Minh Mang.

After leaving Hai Van Pass, the car continues to stop at Lap An Lagoon, which is one of Hue’s large lagoons, with beautiful and poetic scenery. This is also the place to raise and catch oysters using traditional methods.

Not far away is Lang Co Beach, this is a beach in Lang Co Bay, this place has fresh scenery and fresh air. Here, you will relax and enjoy the scenery.

Continue the journey, and travel to Imperial Hue, about 77 kilometers from Lang Co beach, which takes about 2 hours. The Imperial Hue is a preserved historical treasure in Vietnam, serving as the royal palace for 13 Nguyen Dynasty kings from 1802 to 1945. It houses numerous unique architectural marvels blending Asian and European influences, making it a significant cultural heritage site.

After that, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Hue.

Afternoon: The driver will take you to Toa Kham Whaft, to start your journey of experience. After arriving at Thien Mu boat dock, you will learn about  Thien Mu Pagoda, which is a pagoda that has existed for more than 400 years and contains many mysterious stories. This place also has a special architecture, Phuoc Duyen Tower, a 7-storey tower, considered a symbol of Hue City.

After that, you will continue to travel to Khai Dinh Tomb, is the tomb of the 12th king of the Nguyen Dynasty. King Khai Dinh was a king with French ideological influence, so the architecture of Khai Dinh Tomb is an interference between two architectural styles: Eastern and Western. Especially with the porcelain mosaic architecture and the painting “Nine Dragon Hidden Clouds” painted with feet.

Finally, the car will take you back to your hotel in Da Nang.
