Day Trip to Hue from Hoi An by car
Our driver will pick you up at your hotel at Hoi An, then start the day trip to Hue from Hoi An by car.
The first stop of our journey is Hai Van Pass, one of the majestic scenic spots in Vietnam and Hai Van Pass also known as “The most beautiful scenery in the world”. You will immerse the sea stretching along the road you go.
At the top of Hai Van, nearly 500 meters above sea level, the car will stop for you to admire this natural beauty. See the whole landscape including the sea, mountains, green forests and railway tracks through the mountain, ect.
After that time, we will continue our journey from Hoi An to Hue by private car.

The next stop is Lap An Lagoon, this place is a brackish water lagoon and is also one of Hue’s large lagoons, you can see the immense lagoon and Hai Van Pass from afar. Here, it is also a place to raise and catch oysters, you can see this process from the fishermen..
Continuing your journey, you will go without stops to Hue City center, taking about 1 hour 20 minutes.
Continue with the journey, we will transfer to Hue City.

After having a lunch, will continue to discover Hue Citatel, Khai Dinh Tomb and Thien Mu Pagoda.
Firstly, our drivers will take you to visit Thien Mu Pagoda, a religious site in Hue that lures tourists by its beautiful and ancient architectural structures of worship.
The most striking feature of Thien Mu Pagoda, Phuoc Duyen tower (initially called Tu Nhan Tower), was erected in 1884 by Thieu Tri King. This octagonal tower has seven-storeys, which is dedicated to a Buddha who appeared in human form. Thien Mu Pagoda is often the subject of folk rhymes about Hue, such it is its iconic status and association with Hue city.

After that, transfer to visit Hue Citadel.
Hue Citadel, set up by Nguyen Dynasty from 1805 to 1945, is now one amongst the relics of the Hue ancient capital – the World Cultural Heritage.
Coming to Hue Citadel, you can know more about the history of the Nguyen Dynasty and admire architectural marvels. Hua Citadel still well retains many architectural masterpieces and distinctive cultural values.
The last destination of day trip to Hue from Hoi An by car is Khai Dinh Tomb.
Khai Dinh Tomb – Nguyen Dynasty Architectural Pinnacle, is one of the relics belonging to the Complex of Hue Monuments, recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage in 1993. Khai Dinh Tomb was built in 1920 and took 11 years to complete. It is a valuable work of art and architecture that enriches and diversifies the complex of royal tombs in Hue.
After visiting Khai Dinh Tomd, our car will take you back to Hoi An and drop you off at your hotel.
