Itinerary

According to the time you request, the driver will pick you up at Da Nang City Center. Then, start the trip from Da Nang to Hoi An by Private car.

Hoi An is about 28 kilometers from Da Nang, taking nearly 1 hour to travel. But our journey will be longer because there are interesting stops.

The first stop is Marble Mountains, this is a scenic spot formed from 5 limestone mountains, named after the five elements including the mountains Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth.

Here you can explore focusing on Water Mountain because this is the highest and widest mountain. Here, you can climb the stairs to reach the top of the mountain or you can take the elevator to the top and explore from the top to the bottom of the mountain.

At this mountain you can explore many caves such as Hoa Nghiem Cave, Tang Chon Cave, Van Thong Cave, etc., or pagodas such as Tam Thai Pagoda, and Linh Ung Pagoda.

Linh Ung Pagoda is a prominent architecture of Marble Mountains. This pagoda is the oldest of the three Linh Ung Pagodas of Da Nang City. Here you can explore the temple’s architecture and learn about Buddhist beliefs.

You can also explore Am Phu Cave, located at the foot of the Water Mountain. This cave speaks of punishment for human crimes while living on earth. After exploring this cave, you can conquer the way to heaven at the passage near the cave entrance. Here you can see the panoramic view of the Marble Mountains from above.

After exploring the Marble Mountains, the driver will pick you up and move to Hoi An.

Upon arrival in Hoi An, the driver will drop you off at your hotel.

I had a great journey from Da Nang to Hoi An! The convenience is that I get to choose my departure time with my own car and English driver. But it is recommended to go before 4pm if you want to fully explore Marble Mountains. Water Mountain is a highlight with its breathtaking views and fascinating caves. Linh Ung Pagoda and Am Phu Cave add cultural depth. The driver was great, and Hoi An was the perfect end to the day.
