Hue Cycling Tour Around Thuy Bieu Village
The tour will start at 8:00 AM tourguide and the car from your hotel to the boat station. From there, we will take a 40-minute boat ride along the Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda. After visiting the pagoda, we will return to the boat station and continue to Thuy Bieu Village.
Upon arriving in Thuy Bieu Village, you will continue your trip by bike around the village to admire the beauty of the vast rice paddies and the green pomelo orchards. You can also try the famous and delicious fruit of Thuy Bieu Village, which is smaller but sweeter than pomelo and is known as Thanh Tra.
Thanh Tra is a citrus fruit that is native to Vietnam. It is smaller than pomelo and has a sweeter flavor.
In Thuy Bieu Village, Thanh Tra is a popular local fruit. You can find it being sold at the markets and by roadside vendors. You can also try it at local restaurants, where it is often served as a dessert or snack
In addition, you can take a short detour to see schools, communal houses, ancient temples, local homes with traditional occupations, and garden houses. Garden houses are a type of traditional Vietnamese architecture that is typical of Hue and the Nguyen dynasty. They are characterized by small cottages hidden in large, luxuriant gardens, long gates and fences carved out of ornamental trees.
After that, you will have the opportunity to cook some traditional Hue dishes with the locals. The locals are very friendly and have already prepared the ingredients for you, so you don’t have to waste time going to the market. They will then guide you on how to cook some of the most famous Hue dishes. Your tour guide will act as an interpreter and bridge between you and the locals, as they do not speak English.
After lunch, you can relax your feet by soaking the medicinal herb foot spa. It helps you refresh before come back to your hotel.
